Join the Magma Mathlete community as we explore innovative ways to elevate math instruction. After breakfast, we'll spend the morning with Grace Kelemanik and Amy Lucenta, authors of Routines for Reasoning, digging deeply into some of their routines and the nuances of how we select and sequence student work for discussion.
After lunch, we'll have a panel on fostering successful change management in schools, and you'll get the chance to hear from peers and industry leaders. Next, we'll offer a sneak peek into how Magma Math uses AI to help enable teachers to cut down on prep and cultivate meaningful, data-driven engagement with students.
We'll end the day with a reception and a chance to experience some NYC charm at the 230 5th rooftop bar. We can't wait to see you there!
We are delighted to share that Grace Kelemanik and Amy Lucenta of Routines for Reasoning and Teaching for Thinking will be our featured speakers at our Fall Summit. Grace and Amy focus on student thinking and how the use of teaching routines can foster students' mathematical thinking. Grace & Amy are sought after speakers (they are often standing room only at conferences!) and they are great collaborators! When they got the opportunity to experience Magma Math last Fall, they were excited about the potential for how Magma can be used in conjunction with the teaching routines they have developed.
Here’s a glimpse of the energy, collaboration, and connection that made last year’s summit so special.
