Magma Math is developed by Radish AB and distributed by Radish Education, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Magma Math", "we", "us"). This Anti-Spam Policy explains how we send email, how we obtain and honor consent, and what use of email and messaging we prohibit on the Magma Math platform. It applies to all email we send from magmamath.com and its subdomains, and to all messages sent by users through the Magma Math service.
This policy forms part of our Terms of Use and should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our List of Operators.
We do not send unsolicited bulk email. We do not buy, rent, or sell email lists. We do not send marketing email to students. Every marketing email we send identifies Magma Math as the sender, includes our postal address, and contains a working unsubscribe link.
Service and transactional email. These messages are necessary to operate your account and the service. Examples include account invitations, password resets, login verification codes, assignment and class notifications, billing and contract notices, security alerts, and important changes to our terms or policies. You cannot opt out of these messages while you hold an active account, because the service cannot function without them.
Marketing and educational email. These include product news, webinar invitations, research reports, teaching resources, and event announcements. We send these only to educators, school and district staff, and other adults who have given us their consent or with whom we have an existing business relationship, as permitted by applicable law. You can unsubscribe from these at any time.
We collect email addresses for marketing purposes only when you provide them to us directly, for example when you request a demo, download a report, register for a webinar, sign up for a newsletter, or speak with our team at an event. Where the law requires it, we ask for your express opt-in before sending marketing email. We record when and how consent was given.
We never collect student email addresses for marketing purposes. Student accounts receive only the service messages required to use Magma Math in the classroom, and only as configured by the student's school.
Every marketing email we send contains an unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it removes you from marketing email immediately and requires no login or password. You may also unsubscribe by emailing legal@magmamath.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line. We process all opt-out requests within 10 business days, and in practice much faster.
Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop service and transactional email for an active account. To stop all email, you must close your account or ask your school administrator to do so.
Magma Math is used by students, including children under 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and comparable laws in the regions where we operate. We do not send marketing or promotional email to students, and we do not use student contact information for any commercial purpose. Details of how student data is handled are in our Privacy Policy and List of Operators.
We design our email practices to comply with anti-spam and electronic communications laws in every market we serve, including:
Where these laws differ, we apply the stricter standard.
All email from Magma Math is sent from magmamath.com or a subdomain of it. We authenticate our email with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC so that receiving mail systems can verify that a message claiming to come from us is genuine. We never disguise the origin of an email, use misleading subject lines, or hide the sender's identity.
If you receive an email claiming to be from Magma Math that asks for your password, payment details, or other sensitive information, do not respond. Forward it to abuse@magmamath.com.
Users of Magma Math may not use any feature of the service, including class messaging, sharing, invitations, or feedback tools, to:
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate this section, as described in the "Removal of Your Account and Your Content" section of our Terms of Use.
We use the following service providers to send email on our behalf. Each is bound by a contract that restricts its use of your information to providing the service to us.
A complete list of third parties that may process personal information, including student information, is available in our List of Operators.
If you believe you received unsolicited email from us, that our platform is being used to send spam, or that someone is impersonating Magma Math, please contact us:
Please include the full message, including headers if possible. We acknowledge abuse reports within 2 business days and investigate every report.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on our website or by email to account administrators.
