About Magma
Magma was built around the idea that the most important thing a student can do in math is show how they are thinking, not just whether they arrived at the right answer. This competition is an extension of that same belief. Students are scored on the depth and clarity of their reasoning, which means every learner has a meaningful way to participate, regardless of where they are in their math journey.
